About Aspeya

Aspeya is pioneering a scientific and responsible, long-term approach to cannabinoids, harnessing nature to address unmet medical and wellbeing needs. With a patient and consumer-first mindset, we develop and commercialize best-in-class medical and non-recreational cannabinoid products. We are doing this by combining scientific strength, world-class technical expertise, and data-driven insights.

We are committed to working with others to create consistent, high standards for cannabinoid quality, safety, and predictability. Our people are dedicated, experienced scientists and industry experts, all passionate about unlocking the medical and wellbeing potential of cannabinoids to improve patient and consumer lives.

About your role

As our Senior Manager, Market Access , you will turn data into funded access—building submissions, shaping value stories, and supporting payer negotiations that change real‑world care.

This role matters

  • Medical cannabis is a tightly regulated, fast‑evolving space. Patients deserve clarity, access, and choice grounded in science. You’ll help make that happen—translating evidence into decisions that open funded pathways across Canada.

What you’ll do

  • Own Canadian HTA submissions end-to-end (CADTH/CDA-AMC and/or INESSS) and tailored private payer dossiers.
  • Build cost-effectiveness and budget-impact narratives that stand up to scrutiny and lead to positive listing outcomes.
  • Support pCPA/PLA and private payer engagements with clear evidence, crisp briefing materials, and pragmatic options.
  • Partner tightly with Regulatory, Medical, and Legal to ensure compliant access strategies in a highly regulated category.
  • Shape and leverage RWE plans to strengthen the value case post-launch.
  • Track payer criteria and coverage trends; convert insights into action for provinces and private plans.

Does this sound like you?

You’re driven by purpose and precision. You thrive in a fast-evolving, regulated environment and bring a blend of relationship-building, integrity, and determination. You’re comfortable with change and ambiguity, and you communicate with clarity and respect at every level.

You have direct experience in medical cannabis or cannabinoid-based therapies, and you know how to navigate Canadian market access—from CADTH and INESSS submissions to payer negotiations and compliance. You’re ready to build evidence-based value stories, manage complex projects, and collaborate across functions to deliver results.

What you’ll bring:

Essentials:

  • Medical cannabis / cannabinoids experience in a role relevant to access, policy, HTA, compliance, or evidence.
  • Hands-on Canadian HTA experience (CADTH/CDA-AMC and/or INESSS) plus strong CE/BIM literacy.
  • Exposure to payer negotiations (public/private) and familiarity with pCPA/PLA mechanics.
  • A compliance-first mindset; proven collaboration with Regulatory, Medical, and Legal.
  • Credible, concise communication with payers, clinicians, and patient groups; excellent project ownership.

Nice-to-haves:

  • End-to-end authorship of full HTA dossiers (not just components).
  • Broader payer perspective (e.g., US/EU) to inform strategy.
  • Experience designing or using RWE and partnering with patient advocacy to enrich submissions.
