Durabuilt is seeking a detail-orientedRisk & Contracts Specialistto provide essential administrative and operational support in managing insurance documentation, vendor contracts, licensing renewals and legal coordination. As the first dedicated professional in this function, the Specialist will play a pivotal role in implementing new processes, maintaining documentation discipline and ensuring that all organizational claims and agreements are meticulously tracked and organized.

Key Responsibilities

Insurance Administration

  • Act as the primary internal point of contact for insurance programs across the organization
  • Maintain and organize all insurance policy documentation and renewals
  • Support end-to-end claims process, including documentation, coordination & status tracking
  • Gather operational data required for insurance reporting and annual policy reviews

Contract Administration

  • Establish and maintain a centralized repository for all vendor contracts
  • Proactively track contract lifecycles, including start dates, renewal deadlines & key terms
  • Facilitate contract review process between leadership and operational teams
  • Ensure rigorous documentation of contract approvals, amendments & revisions

Legal Coordination & Compliance

  • Maintain a secure legal document repository and track all active legal requests

  • Serve as a liaison to coordinate communication with external legal counsel

  • Oversee business license renewals and prepare necessary regulatory documentation

  • Ensure compliance records are accurate and up to date across all departments

Reporting & Documentation

  • Develop and maintain tracking dashboards for contracts, insurance claims & licenses
  • Provide regular reporting and administrative support to the leadership team
  • Uphold a high standard of documentation accuracy and organizational discipline

Qualifications

Education & Experience

-**Education:**Diploma or Degree in Business Administration, Legal Administration, Insurance or a related field. -**Experience:**3–5 years of experience in contract administration, insurance management, legal coordination or procurement support -**Industry Context:**Previous experience in a manufacturing environment or a fast-paced private company is considered a significant asset
