If you want to be part of tomorrow’s health today, we want to hear from you. About the Role We are seeking a Patient Care Coordinator (Floater) to support INVIVA Clinics across Canada. In this role, you will coordinate patient services, manage referrals, and help ensure the seamless delivery of care within established service standards. As a key liaison between patients, healthcare providers, pharmacies, and internal teams, you will play an important role in delivering an exceptional patient experience in a fast-paced healthcare environment. This position requires flexibility to provide coverage across multiple programs, clinics, and teams as business needs evolve. What You'll Do Process new patient referrals, renewals, and service requests within established timelines. Coordinate patient services, including scheduling, intake, and follow-up activities. Review and process Post Visit Reports (PVRs) and Adverse Events (AEs) accurately and efficiently. Communicate professionally with patients, healthcare providers, and internal stakeholders. Maintain accurate and complete documentation within internal systems while adhering to privacy and compliance requirements. Respond to inbound and outbound calls, emails, and service inquiries within established service levels. Collaborate with nurses, case managers, pharmacies, and program stakeholders to support patient care. Coordinate appointments, including rescheduling requests and no-show follow-up activities. Support the progression of patient cases through the care journey. Provide coverage across multiple programs and teams as required. Participate in on-call rotations and extended shift coverage based on business needs. Basic Requirements Postsecondary diploma in Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, Office Administration, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Minimum 3 years of experience in patient services, healthcare coordination, customer service, call center operations, scheduling, or administrative support. Experience managing high-volume patient, customer, or service inquiries. Experience using Microsoft Office and electronic scheduling, CRM, or patient management systems. Fluency in English, both written and verbal. Preferred Skills & Experience Experience within a patient support program, specialty pharmacy, infusion clinic, medical clinic, or healthcare environment. Knowledge of medical terminology, reimbursement programs, or healthcare workflows. Experience processing referrals, patient documentation, insurance information, or case coordination activities. Strong organizational, problem-solving, and prioritization skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, KPI-driven environment. Experience supporting multiple programs or working in a float capacity across teams. Bilingualism (English/French) is considered an asset. The pay range shown below is aligned with McKesson's pay philosophy, and pay will always be compliant with any applicable regulations.
