This Project Manager will lead the design, construction, and closeout of light industrial buildings, commercial facilities, and compressor stations for a leading power generation operator. The successful candidate will oversee all phases of project delivery, ensuring projects are completed safely, on time, and within budget—while maintaining the highest quality standards.
This position is based in Houston, Texas and the successful candidate will be required to relocate.

What you will be Doing:
-
Overseeing all phases of project execution—from design coordination through construction and closeout—across multiple U.S. sites.
-
Managing contractor prequalification, selection, and performance to ensure safe, efficient, and cost-effective delivery.
-
Developing and maintaining Critical Path Method (CPM) schedules using MS Project or Primavera P6.
-
Preparing and managing detailed project budgets, implementing earned value management to track progress and financial performance.

Supervising construction activities, including geotechnical work, concrete and foundation installation, electrical systems (120V–13.8kV), HVAC, plumbing, and bulk fluid distribution.

Collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to ensure technical, operational, and regulatory compliance.

Reviewing and approving drawings, specifications, and project documentation.

Identifying and mitigating risks while maintaining strict adherence to OSHA 29 CFR 1926 standards.

Providing clear and consistent project updates to all stakeholders.
Your Skills and Qualifications:
- 10+ years of progressive experience in construction project management within commercial, industrial, or power-related facilities.
- Strong technical knowledge of pre-engineered metal buildings, electrical systems (120V–13.8kV), concrete/foundations, geotechnical principles, HVAC, and fluid distribution systems.
- Proven experience with contract administration (change orders, liquidated damages, delays, and terminations).
- Demonstrated ability to manage budgets, schedules, and cross-functional teams.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and leadership skills.
- Thorough understanding of OSHA construction safety standards.
Preferred Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field.

OSHA 30 certification.

Proficiency in MS Project and/or Primavera P6.

Experience managing projects in power generation or industrial sectors.

Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.

Working knowledge of construction insurance policies.
