The Role
We are currently searching for an Operations Administrator reporting to the Supervisor, Operations. This is a Full-Time 12 month Contract opportunity. Candidates will primarily work afternoon shift, but flexibility to work evenings and weekends is required. The Operations Administrator plays a key role in supporting daily operations and administrative tasks that support the overall logistics efficiency.
Location
On - site at the Ottawa Distribution Centre
What You'll Be Doing
- Daily reporting and ongoing verification/compilation of paperwork
- Maintain accurate records of shipments received, return of full goods to brewers, ensuring correctness of information entered into the SAP system
- Support operations working in a fast paced and dynamic environment
- Providing customer service for internal and external customers or third-party carriers
- Ensure the company’s Health and Safety, Operational and Budgetary efficiencies are met
- Scheduling inbound and outbound load appointments with flexibility
- Investigating and complete customer credit requests
- Building load manifests
- Support routing operations by assisting in the review and optimization of customer delivery routes
- Performing other related duties and projects as assigned
Education
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Certification in Logistics / Supply Chain management is considered as asset
Experience
- Preferable experience with SAP, and/or similar ERP systems experience using business process management software
- Experience working within a dispatch or warehouse environment would be preferable
Skills
- Exceptional data-entry speed and accuracy
- Proven ability to produce accurate, efficient and timely documentation
- Proficient in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
- Excellent customer service, communication, teamwork, and interpersonal skills
