Role Description The MSW/RSW will provide individual, dyad, and family psychotherapy, with a focus on neurodivergent clients and those identifying as GTI-m, using trauma-informed and relational approaches. We work with all ages from about age 4-adulthood. Day-to-day responsibilities include conducting biopsychosocial assessments, developing and updating treatment plans, and delivering evidence-informed interventions such as Psychodynamic, Somatic work, IFS, Self Regulation, strength-based, and attachment-based practices. The role involves offering psychoeducation to clients and families about brain–body responses and self-regulation, providing neuro-affirming care, maintaining clear, timely clinical documentation in accordance with regulatory and ethical standards, and a commitment to a practice collective based practice space.
The Social Worker/Therapist will participate in team consultations, case discussions, and ongoing professional development to ensure high-quality, client-centered care. This is a full-time (contract-based), on-site role based in Toronto, ON.
Qualifications Demonstrated competency in Social Work practice, including assessment, intervention planning, and client advocacy. Strong background in Mental Health, including supporting clients with anxiety, depression, trauma, and neurodivergence. Knowledge of skills-based approaches (e.g., emotion regulation and distress tolerance strategies). Master’s degree in Social Work (MSW) with current registration and good standing with the Ontario College of Social Workers and Social Service Workers (OCSWSSW). Experience providing psychotherapy to neurodivergent clients (e.g., ADHD, ASD, 2e, gifted) and those with complex trauma is an asset.
