Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role located in Vancouver, BC. The Manager of Education and Engagement will be responsible for developing and implementing educational programs and community engagement initiatives. This includes curriculum development, coordinating and leading dance training and coaching sessions, and fostering communication with community partners. The role involves managing relationships with educational institutions, creating resources for educators and students, and organizing events to engage the public with contemporary dance.
Qualifications
- Experience in Curriculum Development and Education
- Strong Communication skills, both written and verbal
- Proficiency in Training and Coaching
- Ability to foster community connections and engage diverse audiences
- Excellent organizational and project management skills
- Passion for contemporary dance and the performing arts
- Relevant educational background, such as a degree in Education, Performing Arts, or a related field
- Previous experience in a similar role is an asset

Lui, Jean Orr and Sheila Begg, with Annette av Paul as first Artistic Director, the company has been under the artistic direction of Reid Anderson, Patricia Neary and Barry Ingham, followed by John Alleyne for 17 years and Emily Molnar for 11.
