We are currently hiring a Senior Analyst, Evo Strategy & Operations .  This role is based out of our Burnaby office and operates in a hybrid work environment, with in-office collaboration three days per week.

As the Senior Analyst, Evo Strategy & Operations , you will play a key role in supporting Evo’s growth and performance through data-driven analysis, business planning, and forecasting and reporting. You will be an excel expert that will work in close partnership with teams across Evo, including Marketing, Fleet and Customer Operations, Product, Financial Planning & Analysis, Information Systems, and Accounting. This role is responsible for preparing Evo forecasts and budgets in addition to regular and ad-hoc reporting, data modeling, forecasting, and the development of strategic tools and business cases that influence decision-making across the Evo Car Share business.

You’ll leverage your expertise in data analysis, financial reporting, and strategic planning to uncover insights, monitor performance, and support expansion opportunities. Your work will directly support Evo’s operations, growth strategies, and executive-level decision-making.

  • You enjoy collaborating with cross-functional teams and presenting data-driven findings to technical and non-technical audiences alike.

  • You are a good writer, and can translate your data driven recommendations into written business cases and recommendations.

What you’ll do:

  • Develop, maintain, and improve forecasting and tracking models that support Evo’s operational, financial, and strategic planning.
  • Prepare forecasts and update the P&L files and lead monthly reporting, forecasting, and budgeting activities in collaboration with the Finance and FP&A teams.
  • Extract, explore, and analyze large, complex datasets using SQL and other tools to produce detailed business insights and operational recommendations.
  • Create and manage Power BI dashboards and other management reporting tools that support performance monitoring and business decision-making.
  • Conduct scenario planning and test hypotheses to evaluate potential outcomes of proposed initiatives and growth strategies.
  • Reconcile actual vs. expected results and identify discrepancies or data issues across internal and external data sources.
  • Identify and implement new tools and reporting enhancements to increase the accuracy, quality, and timeliness of data.
  • Translate unstructured business problems into actionable analysis and present insights clearly to stakeholders, including senior leadership and executive teams.
  • Build strategic ppt decks, write business cases, and prepare proposals grounded in data and aligned with Evo’s goals and market research.
  • Conduct external research using industry and government data sources to benchmark performance and evaluate new market opportunities.
  • Collaborate with internal and external researchers, vendors, and partners to enhance understanding of the car sharing and mobility market.
  • Support cross-functional teams with ad-hoc analysis and provide analytical input into operational and strategic projects across Evo.

What you bring:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Business, Accounting, Economics, Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related discipline with a focus on quantitative methods.
  • 3–5 years of experience in Finance, Accounting, Reporting, Analytics, Strategy, or Operations.
  • Strong SQL skills for data extraction and report building.
  • Proficiency in Power BI, with the ability to build and edit dashboards.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including queries and pivot tables.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
  • Superior written and verbal communication abilities for presenting complex data clearly.
  • Experience working independently and collaboratively in fast-paced, evolving environments.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
  • Experience with large data set analysis is preferred.

The salary range for this position is $91,185.84  to $113,982.36  and is determined via job-related knowledge, skills, experience, certifications, market demand and internal equity. In addition to base salary and BCAA benefits, this position is eligible for a performance bonus target of 9%, with the opportunity to earn up to 15%.
