Job Description POSITION OVERVIEW As a valuable member of the Toronto Raptors Game Presentation team, you will be responsible for the delivery of championship service to ensure every fan has a memorable experience. You will execute on-court activities and in arena promotions at all Toronto Raptors home games at Scotiabank Arena and various events as required. RESPONSIBILITIES Select contestants for on court/in-stand contests and promotions Ensure contestants clearly understand and are prepared to participate in the promotion and/or activity Explain contestant waivers and ensure proper completion Set up, execute and tear down all pre-game, halftime and post-game promotions (signage, props, etc.) Maneuver large props throughout the venue Assist with preparation, and organization of all giveaways at Toronto Raptors games Organize and prepare all promotions per the game script and ensure execution within the designated time frame Communicate positively and professionally with all MLSE staff and fans Other duties as required REQUIREMENTS Energetic, creative, dedicated, charismatic and reliable Must be flexible to work weekday shifts as early as 5:00pm, and weekends and holidays during the day and evening Must be available to work a minimum of 30 Toronto Raptors home games, possible playoff games, special events, and scheduled rehearsals Must be able to carry and transport up to 25lbs Enthusiastic team player who enjoys interaction with fans of all ages Must have a solid knowledge of the game of basketball Able to take direction and show initiative in a fast-paced environment Excellent interpersonal and communication skills Work with enthusiasm and professionalism always A championship winning attitude We’re glad you’re here.
