As a member of the Stores and Receiving team, you will provide efficient supply and equipment distribution service throughout the Hospital in a timely, efficient and orderly manner. You will assist in receiving, stocking and issuing functions within the department.
Shifts: Monday to Friday from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM
Although this posting indicates an initial area of assignment and shift, the Hospital reserves the right to assign to other areas of assignment and shifts as deemed necessary.
Here's What You'll Get To Do
- Respond promptly to service requests.
- Perform all duties according to Hospital and Departmental Policies and Procedures.
- Delivers all supplies, furniture & equipment.
- Assists in the supply order picking duties.
- Assist in the receiving of stock and put-away duties.
- Fills containers as required from bulk alcohol & solvents.
- Pick up and disposal of chemical waste.
- Assists in the process of receiving of non-stock orders.
- Participate in cycle and physical inventory counts.
- Assist in keeping the work area in a clean and orderly manner.
- Perform Loading dock duties when necessary.
- Perform other duties as necessary.
Here's What You'll Need
- Minimum Education Required: (grade 12 or equivalent).
- Ability to work with numbers and familiar with supply replenishment processes.
- Must be able to read, write, speak and comprehend English.
- Attention to accuracy and detail is required.
- Ability to communicate and work in a team setting and in a children's hospital environment.
- A commitment to understanding and aiding in the pursuit of equity, diversity & inclusion.
