Job purpose

This is a technical position for a 3 month contract with in the Build/Configuration center, which has contracted Service Level Agreements (“SLAs”), customer specific requirements for technical and quality processes and procedures. The QCC Technician will report to the Manager – Build / Configuration Centre.

Duties and responsibilities

Configuration of day-to-day orders on the build/configuration team to which they are assigned and customizing the hardware and software requirements while adhering to Coreio and client expectations provided in the special instructions by order desk staff. General functions include:

  • Interface with various internal contacts to facilitate the customized configuration and delivery of orders received from the order desk staff.
  • Ensuring orders are prepared and shipped in accordance with the clients special instructions
  • Timely escalation to the manager of any technical or process related issues.
  • Adherence to Coreio quality system standards and process
  • Proper maintenance and use of client documentation and QA check sheets.
  • Proper use of D2001, timely order activation, and updating QA notes.
  • Compliance to Coreio standards regarding telephony, Email, dress code and overall work ethic.

Qualifications

  • The ability to perform under pressure while maintaining client standards.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with co-workers and management.
  • Micro computer hardware configuration / testing
  • Good communication and the ability to follow technical documentation while applying technical problem solving skills.
  • Good team player, with the ability to be flexible and quickly comprehend new technical and quality process related training.
  • Computer hardware experience.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft products.
  • Ability to learn new technical procedures and adhere to exact direction / quality verification.
  • Ability to work and manage in a fast-paced environment.
