Complex Attendant Care Our client is an adult woman, living with mental health challenges in Central Ottawa. The primary focus of care is meal preparation (approximately 80% of the time), along with support for activities of daily living. We are seeking someone who can provide a nurturing and supportive adult caregiving experience, with strong instincts to ensure the clients safety and well-being at all times. The ability to learn and adapt to the clients specific preferences, while maintaining a high level of attentiveness, is essential.
You would be the ideal candidate if you are compassionate, reliable, and adaptable. Someone who takes pride & initiative in creating a safe, supportive, and caring environment tailored to the clients needs.
Requirements:
- Valid Standard First Aid and CPR Level C
- Smartphone with a data plan
- Vulnerable Sector Check completed within the last 6 months
- Light Housekeeping experience & competency in this area is required
- Meal preparation experience & competency in this area is required
Assets:
- Post Secondary education or strong personal experience
- Imperative to have a high sense of awareness & attention to detail
- Experience working with individuals living with Trauma/PTSD (Mental health).
Hours: 7.5 - 12.5 hours weekly
Rate of Pay: $28/hour
