We are seeking a dependable, hands-on individual to fill a Part-Time Auto Attendant and Maintenance position at our West Kelowna facility. This unique role combines vehicle handling, light mechanical tasks, and general maintenance duties—ideal for someone who enjoys variety in their workday and takes pride in keeping things clean, safe, and running smoothly.
Key Responsibilities:
- Park and maneuver vehicles and trailers safely within the facility yard
- Connect and manage battery charging units for stored vehicles
- Operate a forklift to move trailers, containers, and other items
- Run light machinery as required
- Perform routine cleaning of facility grounds, driveways, and interiors
- Carry out minor building maintenance and upkeep duties
- Maintain a safe, organized, and professional appearance of the property at all times
- Report any maintenance or safety concerns to the Facility Manager
Requirements:
- Valid British Columbia driver’s license (Class 5 or higher)
- Capable of driving both manual and automatic transmission vehicles
- Clean driver’s abstract
- Licensed forklift operator (current certification required)
- Mechanically inclined with the ability to troubleshoot and perform basic repairs
- Comfortable working both indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions
- Physically capable of lifting, moving, and working on your feet
- Strong attention to detail, self-motivated, and reliable
- Must be available for flexible, part-time hours including some weekends as needed
