About the role
Dawn InfoTek Inc. is a professional IT consulting team that partners with major financial institutions, investment firms, and government sectors. We are currently seeking a Salesforce Developer for a contract opportunity.
Role: Salesforce Developer
Work Arrangement: 2 days/week in office, currently Mondays and Wednesdays, subject to change as needed Contract Duration: 6 months Extension / Conversion: Possible extension or conversion to FTE
Responsibilities:
- Work with key stakeholders across business functions to align technology solutions with business strategies
- Gather requirements from business units and translate them into clear specifications for programmers and developers
- Read and write SQL queries
- Prepare cost-benefit and return-on-investment analyses to support system implementation decisions
- Demonstrate strong knowledge of business functions to resolve problems and identify improvement opportunities
- Support highly complex business processes
- Work on multiple projects as a project team member
- Act as a liaison between business teams and IT teams to provide technical solutions that meet user needs
- Support Salesforce platform development, workflow processes, integrations, and SDLC activities Must Have Skills:
- 10+ years of Salesforce development experience
- Minimum 1 recent project with a Financial Services Cloud environment
- Previous financial services experience is critical, such as banking or large insurance
- 2+ years of working knowledge with Salesforce tools used to execute and manage workflow processes across the SDLC, such as Salesforce DX
- Experience working on projects requiring integration with various systems, including on-prem systems, Azure, API connectivity, real-time connectivity, and ETL tools
- Experience reading and writing SQL queries Nice to Have:
- Experience with nCino Credit Origination, a managed package on top of Salesforce
- Knowledge of Oracle stored procedures
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or a related field
