Retail Food & Beverage Floor Supervisor - Casual Part Time
About the role
Position Summary
Reports to the Event Supervisor, the Retail Food & Beverage Floor Supervisor is a multi-faceted role that is instrumental in assuring operational efficiency. The Retail Food & Beverage Floor Supervisors make sure that our staff on the floor are supported and perform opening and closing procedures with our cashiers and bartenders. This is an exciting role, with numerous opportunities for continuous growth and improvement.
These positions are casual-part-time positions that will require the successful candidates to work flexible hours throughout the week and on weekends.
We are hiring for multiple positions under this requisition.
Responsibilities
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to -
- Provide exceptional customer service to all guests in a prompt and friendly manner.
- Responsible for inventory control, which includes opening and closing counts, spillage, returns etc.
- Make sure that all the bars are ready to go before the bartenders arrive.
- Be available to pitch in on a bar if help is required.
- Troubleshoot issues and concerns with POS systems.
- Prioritize the guest experience by assisting with any guest concerns, to make sure that every guest leaves our venues satisfied.
- Assist in resolving staffing issues through mediating conflict and problem solving.
- Make sure that the bars are clean and ready to close at the end of the shift.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate will have the following background:
- Must have at least 6 months of supervisory experience in food and beverage or retail.
- Proven record of leadership skills.
- Must be able to build relationships with various stakeholders.
- Ability to problem solve and think quickly on their feet.
- Must have exemplary attention to detail, which would allow them to ensure all administrative paperwork is accurate.
- ProServe required.
