Your role
As a Business Controller, you'll be at the heart of our financial operations, steering the organization's accounting functions and empowering strategic financial decisions through precise and timely reporting. Reporting directly to the General Manager, you'll contribute significantly to our overall success.
You will
- Oversee accounts payable, cost accounting, and financial reporting
- Develop and maintain planning and budgeting systems
- Prepare financial and management reports and present findings to senior management
- Analyze and interpret financial trends requiring management's attention

- You have 5 + years of experience, working as a Business Controller
- Post-secondary degree in related field (Business Administratin, Economics, etc.) or similar academic background
- Sound understanding of accounting practices (FAM, IFRS, and GAAP) with the capacity to develop an understanding of Medical Gas products, markets, and sales processes and how they work within the structural regularity framework established with FAM
- Proficient in ERP systems (SAP preferred)
- Completely comfortbale working with full Microsoft Office suite including Excel and Power BI
- Bulingual in English & French considered an asset
- Experience working both a customer centre and product centre considered an asset
- Experience working with construction accounting considered an asset

About Class 1 Inc.
We are a leading Canadian manufacturer, installer and service provider of Halogenated Drug Recovery Systems, medical vacuum and medical air systems, on-site oxygen, medical supply units, and medical gas pipeline components.
- Our Class 1 Medical Gas Systems Division performs complete turnkey, design-build, and subcontract medical gas pipeline installations for contractors and hospitals.
- Our Manufacturing Division builds medical gas systems, halogenated (anesthetic) gas recovery equipment and patient care headwall units
- Our Secondary Products Department manages the sourcing and delivery of all non-manufactured parts
- Our Facility Services Division provides preventive maintenance and emergency service for all makes of Medical Vacuum, Medical Air Systems and their supply units (piping and headwalls).
