About the role
Reporting to the Director of Recruitment, the Recruitment Coordinator, works in collaboration with university recruitment and marketing departments to develop, coordinate, and implement targeted agent communications and marketing initiatives for Fairleigh Dickinson University Vancouver. The coordinator assists with the development and coordination of international agent engagement and communication for the Vancouver Campus that align with its strategic plan. The coordinator is also responsible for assisting the team in following up with potential leads, agent agreements and providing campus tours, info sessions, and organizing on-campus events and activities. The Coordinator will support admissions and enrollment communications, and student services functions as necessary in order to accomplish recruitment and enrollment goals.
Required Qualifications:
PRINCIPALDUTIES:

Works with the recruitment team and external agents to drive clear and consistent communications.

Collaborates with FDU Vancouver marketing team to ensure alignment in communication strategy and ensures marketing collateral meets recruitment needs.

Primary contact for agents, and partners; with a focus on China, Hong Kong and Taiwan market

Supports planning info sessions, campus tours, and in-person and virtual events.
-
Participates in the development and implementation of an overall Vancouver marketing and recruitment plan and comprehensive school/college relations program.

Provides support with digital marketing and media development, and activities of FDU Vancouver.
-
Understands market needs and provides relevant updates to recruitment and marketing teams to inform and drive recruitment agenda and achieve goals.

Coordinates with internal departments, partners, and third-party vendors contracted by FDU Vancouver to execute projects and purchases to support recruitment activities.
-
Monitors, recommends, and communicates appropriate tools to increase awareness of the FDU Vancouver brand, locally and internationally.

Develops and analyzes communication plans by collaborating with departments and faculty that align with and support the Vancouver strategic plan.

Liaises with the internal FDU Vancouver and FDU departments as required.

Performs other work related duties as requested.
Preferred Qualifications:
-
Completion of a minimum two-year diploma required from a recognized post-secondary institution in a relevant field such as journalism, communications, marketing, business management, event management or any related field. Bachelor degree preferred.

Minimum two years’ experience working in the recruitment and marketing field, including agent communication and management, planning and executing events, liaising with marketing teams and other relevant fields.

Two years of experience in the processes and procedures of recruiting students for study in Canada, preferably for post-secondary programs.

Proven experience in event management and digital marketing across multiple platforms, including content plan development, content generation and distribution, reputation management, and client relationship management.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office: MS Word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, MS Teams.

Experience with virtual meeting platforms (Teams and Zoom) and other email marketing platforms (Mailchimp, Constant Contact or Klaviyo) is a plus.

Possesses strong written and verbal communication skills.

Demonstrated high proficiency in copywriting for print and digital platforms, including excellent control of style variations for different media formats and tone for different audiences.

Self-motivated, self-directed and assertive; ability to work under minimal supervision.

Strong understanding of communication and recruitment fundamentals and tactics.
-
Team player and ability to collaborate with multiple stakeholders.
-
Demonstrated ability to work effectively as an integral member of a communications team; adaptable to change with a strong customer service focus.

Ability to maintain professional communication and confidentiality.
-
Valid driver’s license, access to a car, and the ability to travel extensively, both locally and internationally. Must have an acceptable driving record in accordance with the University’s Motor Vehicle policy. Valid passport required for international travel.

Canadian Residency or work permit required.
