Murex Credit/Rates Functional Support Analyst
About the role
Role Summary
As a member of the Murex Credit/Rates Functional Support team, you will support Crédit Agricole CIB’s global Front Office fixed income and credit derivatives business, which operates 24/7 across major financial hubs including Tokyo, Hong Kong, Singapore, London, Paris, New York, and Montreal. The role centers on ensuring the stability, accuracy, and continuity of the Murex V3 platform, a mission‑critical system for real‑time PnL, risk metrics, pricing, and regulatory reporting.
Your primary responsibility is to maintain smooth daily operations by resolving incidents, responding to trader and Sales inquiries, and driving continuous improvement to enhance platform stability and user experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide daily functional support to Front Office users (Traders and Sales), ensuring proactive, clear communication with all stakeholders.
- Investigate, analyze, and resolve production incidents, collaborating with global Murex support and development teams.
- Perform daily operational checks and monitor the production environment to guarantee system stability and performance.
- Work closely with developers to deliver long‑term solutions, enhancements, and performance improvements to the Murex platform.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives aimed at reducing incidents and enhancing platform quality, stability, and usability.
- Collaborate efficiently with global Murex teams (Paris, New York, Hong Kong, Bangalore) as part of a follow‑the‑sun support model.
- Deliver user training sessions and produce clear documentation for Front Office stakeholders.
Required Skills & Competencies
Mandatory
- Strong understanding of financial markets, specifically US Corporate Bonds.
- Direct experience supporting Front Office traders in a high‑pressure, time‑sensitive trading environment.
- Solid working knowledge of Murex MX.III Front Office tools (Pricing, Simulation, Market Data, Standard Reports).
Additional Competencies
- Strong knowledge of vanilla financial products, valuation principles, and risk sensitivities.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder‑management skills.
- Proactive, analytical mindset with the ability to operate effectively in dynamic and high‑pressure environments.
- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in financial markets or Murex support roles.
- Offshore experience is considered a plus.
Other Requirements
- Contract length: 12‑month initial term.
- Start date: ASAP.
- Language: Fluent English required; French is an asset.
- Holiday calendar: USA (New York).
