About the role
Overview:
The Inventory Control Coordinator will support the team in warehousing, inventory control, receiving, material handling, kitting and cycle counting. This position reports to the Inventory Control Manager.
Available Shift: 7:00am-3:30pm, Monday-Friday
Responsibilities:
- Maintains and updates inventory records.
- Collects daily warehouse activity data (metrics tracking).
- Performs all daily activities necessary to maintain effective inventory management procedures.
- Maintains records to accurately track damaged and/or lost items.
- Conduct search to locate products within the system, as necessary.
- Investigates all inventory errors and ensures corrective measures to prevent discrepancies.
- Print and distribute Putaway Reports to Cycle Counters/Auditors daily.
- Maintains accurate inventory records to help facilities shortage detection.
- Maintains confidentiality of inventory records to authorized personnel.
- Complete and issue all necessary records and reports in a timely and accurate fashion.
- Performs duties as instructed by management.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED
- At least 1 year experience in a similar position.
- Computer applications experience using MS Office, Manhattan, SAP, Foursite , Exceed or experience on another Warehouse Management System (WMS).
- Excellent oral and written communications skills,
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Detailed Oriented.
- Power material handling experience preferred.
- Must be flexible in adapting to changing environments.
- Must be able to stand/walk for up to 10-12 hours.
- Lift and move totes up to 50 pounds.
- Regular bending, lifting, stretching and reaching both below the waist and above the head.
- Walking in the distribution center and around the area with great frequency; facilities are over a quarter mile in length.
- Should be able to work in environments with variable noise levels, lighting conditions and temperature variation and able to access all areas of building without limitations.
- Ability and availability to work irregular or extended hours including nights, weekends and holidays as needed by the customer.
The base hourly pay rate for this posting is $22.00. The base hourly pay is a guideline to provide our employees with market competitive pay, while allowing for flexibility to recognize and reward various levels of expertise, performance and tenure. The pay rate listed is just one component of NF's total compensation package for employees.
