Role Overview
- Position: Engineering PhD – Contractor, Remote
- Commitment: 10-20 hours per week, potential for increased hours and extension
- Contribute subject matter expertise to a project involving frontier large language models. Craft high-quality, challenging problems with real-world applicability to inform AI innovation.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate asynchronously with a team of highly qualified experts across your domain.
- Craft, solve, and review challenging problems with real-world applicability.
- Work independently and asynchronously to meet project deadlines and contribute to AI innovation.
- Ensure the quality and applicability of crafted problems to inform the future of AI.
- Engage in a fully remote and asynchronous work environment.
Requirements / Qualifications Must-Have Qualifications
- Masters or PhD in Engineering from a top US university
- High attention to detail
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent proficiency in English
- Based in the U.S., Canada, New Zealand, UK, or Australia
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with AI model training and evaluation
- Familiarity with large language models
Engagement Details
- Compensation: $65-75/hour
- Contract Type: Hourly contractor
- Schedule: 10-20 hours per week
- Location: Remote
- Payment: Weekly via Stripe Connect
