The research and development team in Magog is looking for a new Software Technician.. Do you want to contribute to the design of equipment that changes lives? Join us!
Responsibilities and Functions:

Participate in the development of new patient lifts and mobility aids according to the product development process (PDP) and regulatory requirements ;

Implement the design requirements ;
-
Support the project teams in computer and embedded programming ;
-
Implement solutions to correct problems related to the design ;
-
Participate in the assembly of prototypes ;Build and commission test benches ;
-
Develop documentation related to research and development projects ;
-
Assuring the organization and good order of the laboratory.
Requirements:
-
College diploma in computer system technology, computer technology, electrical engineering technology or equivalent ;

Ability to implement software solutions effectively ;
-
Experience of programmation in C/C++ ;
-
Functional knowledge of version control software ;
-
Experience in real-time operating systems (asset) ;
-
Experience in embedded programming (asset).

Empathy towards users and ability to understand the context of product use.
