About the role
Reporting to the Sales Director, the Inside Sales Representative – Ventilation will act as a key resource and support for the outside sales representatives in the Montréal territory, as well as for the company’s purchasing group and logistics team.
What You Will Accomplish With Us Bidding phase
- Analyze plans, specifications, and proposals to identify technical requirements.
- Review and list the products to be quoted based on the plans, specifications, and proposals.
- Select appropriate products using manufacturers’ pricing software.
- Ensure that the proposed products comply with the requirements outlined in the plans, specifications, and proposals, in collaboration with outside sales representatives.
- Prepare and assemble quotations to be sent to contractors.
Sales phase
- Actively participate in the follow-up of proposals in collaboration with clients and sales representatives.
- Adjust quotations in preparation for upcoming negotiations.
- Contribute to or lead negotiations, depending on project needs.
- Ensure notes and follow-ups are updated to reflect the progress of the proposals being worked on.
Project management phase
- Evaluate the technical content of plans, specifications, and proposals, ensuring that the proposed products meet the specified requirements, in collaboration with external sales representatives and the Technical Director, as needed.
- Actively participate in strategic meetings to define closing strategies for key projects.
- Follow up on projects from the qualification phase through to completion.
- Provide technical support to clients, sales representatives, and the sales team.
- Act as a facilitator throughout the entire project execution process.
What You Bring To Our Team
- Specialized education in building mechanics (AEC or DEC in Building Mechanics and/or a Bachelor's degree in Engineering in a relevant field).
- Excellent communication skills, both oral and written.
- Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external clients, as well as with suppliers.
- Strong curiosity and ability to learn technical concepts quickly.
- Excellent planning and organizational skills.
- Autonomy, attention to detail, and ability to manage priorities effectively.
- Collaborative mindset and ability to foster a positive work environment.
- Bilingualism (English/French) – Required due to regular interactions with internal and/or external collaborators across Groupe Master locations nationwide. After evaluation, it has been determined that no other solution allows these professional obligations to be fulfilled.
