SDK Software Engineer (Python, JavaScript, Android/Kotlin, iOS/Swift)
About the role
Fleetworthy is looking for a software engineer with 5+ years experience. You will be working with a platform team to develop a mobile SDK for embedding into Android and iOS apps. The SDK has a native wrapper (using Kotlin for Android and Swift for iOS) and an over-the-air updatable JavaScript core engine for delivering geolocation based alerts. The ideal candidate will have these skills:
- Python: working on backend webservices, APIs, and test automation platform
- JavaScript: extensive experience, preferably using Google JavaScript engine
- Native Android (Kotlin) and iOS (Swift) development: experience with Android is a requirement, while also having experience with iOS is preferred
- API and microservices development
We’re looking for experienced engineers who can contribute quickly—we don’t currently have bandwidth for entry-level training. You’ll need to be self-driven—our teams are distributed and mostly remote.
This is a short-term contract position that is currently only budgeted through March 2026. The salary range on this posting is the approximate range for the ~six month budget.
