Department of Environment’s Finance branch is seeking an Accounting Clerk to join our team. This position is responsible for providing financial and administrative services to the branch as well as overseeing accounts payable for the department.
Our ideal candidate strives to provide excellent client service through clear and helpful communication, time management, and organizational skills. The position is best suited to someone who is motivated, enjoys working with numbers and details, and works well in a team environment.

Essential Qualifications (what we’re looking for in your resume)

- Coursework in bookkeeping, accounting, administrative finance, or a related field.
- Experience processing financial transactions or experience with data entry or performing clerical work in an accounting or financial setting.
- Experience providing client support.

- Experience using various computerized financial systems (e.g. Quest, Excel, QuickBooks, Sage)
Candidates who have education, training, and/or experience equivalent to the essential qualifications listed above may be equally considered.
