Product Manager - Data and Analytics
About the role
MatchBox Consulting Group is currently seeking a Product Manager (Data and Analytics) for a 6 month contract role with a client of ours located in Vancouver
Requirements
Steer the full product lifecycle, ensuring robust implementation, maintenance, and enhancement. Guide and inspire a team of engineers, business analysts, and QA specialists to deliver on strategic objectives. Understanding the business requirements related to reporting (data products/dashboards) for the Digital business or otherwise indicated Forge strong partnerships across the technology department and with business stakeholders to align vision and execution. In collaboration with business owners, develop and refine the product strategy, ensuring its alignment with long-term business goals. Manage the financial aspects, optimizing the allocation of resources to maximize product value. Cultivate productive relationships with vendors, aligning service delivery with our high standards. Harness Human-Centered Design principles to create empathetic, user-focused data solutions. Keep stakeholders informed with regular, detailed updates on product status and strategic developments. Maintain a RAID log and devise strategies to mitigate risks, ensuring project health and alignment with business expectations. Prepare system changes for release and engage stakeholders through product demos to foster continuous improvement. Adept with cloud data platforms like Azure, ETL tools like databricks and modern visualization tools bringing a technical edge to product management.
