Position: Vending Stand Lead

Department: Concessions
Location: Rogers Centre – Toronto
Reports To: Vending Manager / Concessions Manager

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise and support Beer Vendors, Food Vendors, and Vending Attendants during events.
  • Assign staff clear duties for setup, event service, and breakdown to ensure smooth operations.
  • Monitor inventory levels and coordinate replenishment to maintain efficient service.
  • Verify beginning and ending inventory counts, ensuring all product movements are accurately tracked.
  • Support staff with mobile POS device troubleshooting and ensure all cashless transaction protocols are followed.
  • Provide direction, training, and coaching to frontline vending staff as needed.
  • Ensure all company, facility, and government policies regarding food handling, alcohol service, and safety are followed.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of vending locations in compliance with Legends’ standards.
  • Handle guest issues or requests that vendors cannot resolve directly.
  • Complete required event documentation including tracking sheets, logs, and safety checklists.
  • Collaborate with management to implement staffing controls, minimize waste, and optimize product flow.
  • Perform other duties as assigned to support event-day operations.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 18 years of age.
  • Smart Serve and Food Handlers certifications required.
  • Prior experience in concessions, food service, or stadium operations strongly preferred.
  • Strong leadership and organizational skills with the ability to direct a team in high-volume environments.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Comfortable using handheld POS devices and troubleshooting payment issues.
  • Ability to lift, carry, and transport products such as cases of beer, wine, and bins of ice (up to 50 lbs.).
  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, and reach for extended periods, including navigating stairs and ramps.
  • Flexible availability to work evenings, weekends, holidays, and at least 80% of stadium events
