About the role

Description

The Commercial Vehicle Ambassador manages the curbside and holding area for Taxi's, Ride Share & Buses and any other commercial vehicle in the managed area(s). Greets and creates a welcoming atmosphere for our customers, clients & stakeholders. They perform a variety of tasks to ensure a smooth operation of the managed area(s) for safety & efficiency, while delivering service that exceeds our customer/client's expectations. The Commercial Vehicle Ambassador works closely with fellow team members, Operations Manager, and/or Shift Supervisors to ensure that safety standards and flow are met at all times. Communication through various methods including 2 way radios and ear pieces.

Key Responsibilities

  • Must be flexible to work nights/days Monday-Sunday, Holidays and special events.
  • Greet arriving and departing guests in a friendly and courteous manner.
  • Act as a traffic controller to direct incoming and outgoing guests to appropriate area(s).
  • Use respectful communication to assist guests/customers, stakeholders & operators with their questions, problems, and concerns, relay information to Operations Manager
  • Immediately report any accidents, incidents or safety concerns to Operations Manager, Supervisors & Airport Directive tool(s).
  • Always communicate professionally with guests, client and teammates.
  • Employee must be able to perform essential functions of the position with or without reasonable accommodations.

Skills, Knowledge and Expertise

  • At least 18 years of age

  • Excellent customer service and communication skills

  • Ability to verbally communicate with guests, client, stakeholders & operators

  • Adapt & adopt to technologies

  • Able to stand for long periods of time

  • Previous customer service experience, preferred
