Facilities Engineering

Full Time
Salary Range: $38.31 - $38.49 /hour
It is understood that the hours of work reflect the current scheduling arrangements and are subject to change as determined by the Employer.

Essential Qualifications
- Current Certificate of Qualification as a Plumber in the Province of Ontario
- Secondary (High) School Diploma
- Knowledge of a Safety Culture in a Health Care Setting in compliance with the OHSA
- Minimum three (3) years demonstrated related experience
- Demonstrated experience in a customer-oriented environment
- Demonstrated effective organizational skills
- Demonstrated effective collaborative, interpersonal, and communication skills
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively on a team as well as independently
- Must be capable of meeting the physical demands required to perform the essential duties of the classification
- Cross Connection and Backflow Prevention Testers Certification If not currently certified must attain certification within one year of commencement of employment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous work experience within a healthcare environment
- Preferred experience with hydronic heating systems and steam systems
- Previous experience managing, documenting, and closing work tasks within a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS).
- HVAC Certification (e.g. SMT, BES)
Teaching and Research
- St Joseph's Health Care London through its affiliation with Western University and Fanshawe College is a leading research and teaching hospital. As an employee of St Joseph's, you will be expected to engage in role related teaching and research activities in addition to any of your clinical duties
Immunization Requirements
- Provide vaccination records or proof of immunity against measles, mumps rubella, varicella (chicken pox), Hepatitis B, COVID-19 and influenza.
- Provide documentation of the Tuberculosis skin testing
