About the role

Our client is seeking a dynamic and results-oriented Sales Manager to lead a high-performing sales team within the residential real estate sector. This role is responsible for executing strategic sales plans, managing team performance, and overseeing all aspects of the sales process - from lead generation to deal closure. The Sales Manager will also play a key role in training, mentoring, and supporting the sales team while maintaining strong relationships with external stakeholders such as realtors and brokers.

Your Success Will Be Defined By Your Ability To

  • Develop and implement strategic sales plans to meet revenue and growth targets
  • Lead the acquisition of new sales through effective team leadership
  • Negotiate deals within established guidelines and seek approvals for exceptions
  • Build and maintain relationships with realtors, brokers, and other key stakeholders
  • Analyze market trends and competitor activity to refine sales strategies
  • Set and monitor sales goals and KPIs for the team
  • Recruit, train, and mentor sales consultants, ensuring completion of onboarding and ongoing training
  • Collaborate with CRM specialists to ensure effective lead management
  • Address customer concerns and follow up on below-average survey scores
  • Handle escalated customer issues beyond the sales consultant level

  • Extensive experience in residential construction and real estate sales
  • Strong understanding of buyer behavior and sales techniques
  • Excellent time management, organizational, and planning skills
  • Critical thinking and problem-solving abilities
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines with urgency
  • Proficiency in profit analysis, deal negotiation, and CRM systems
