About the role
Summary:
Under the direction of the Manager of Regulatory Affairs, the Bilingual Reviewer is responsible for ensuring the accuracy, consistency, and regulatory compliance of bilingual labeling and marketing materials for products marketed by IVC Vita Health in Canada. This role supports the review and approval of labeling, ensures high-quality French translations of regulatory and scientific documentation, and maintains internal labeling standards and tools.
Responsibilities:
Key Responsibilities for this position:

Review and assess product labeling text to ensure accuracy and compliance with internal standards and applicable Canadian regulatory requirements

Prepare, translate, and validate French versions of regulatory documentation, ensuring consistency with English source materials
-
Develop and maintain bilingual master labeling documents for Over the Counter (OTC) drugs and Natural Health Products (NHPs)
-
Review and approve labeling artwork and promotional materials for compliance, accuracy, and alignment with approved label masters
-
Proofread French text within labeling and marketing materials for grammar, spelling, and technical accuracy
-
Translate master label text, product monographs, and promotional content from English to French
-
Ensure alignment between English and French labeling content across all materials
-
Maintain and update translation tools, terminology databases, and internal labeling standards
-
Track and manage regulatory documentation and labeling workflows, ensuring records are accurate and up to date
Qualifications & Experience Required:

Fully bilingual in English and French (written and spoken), with French language proficiency at a native or near-native level preferred
-
Exceptional attention to detail, particularly when reviewing complex or technical documents
-
Advanced proficiency in French grammar, spelling, and syntax
-
Strong proofreading and editing capabilities
-
Familiarity with pharmaceutical and/or medical terminology is an asset
-
Strong interpersonal and collaboration skills, with the ability to work cross-functionally
-
Effective time management and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
-
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel) and experience managing electronic documentation systems
Education, Certification, Licenses & Registrations:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and relevant work experience
Skills
- Minimum 2 years of experience in regulatory labeling, translation, or a related field (pharmaceutical, natural health products, or healthcare industry preferred)
Physical Demands:

Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer

Frequent use of hands and fingers for typing, handling documents and operating office equipment
-
Ability to lift and carry office supplies, files or small packages up to approximately 20 lbs (9kg)

Occasional standing, walking, bending or reaching

Visual acuity required for reading printed materials and viewing a computer screen

Ability to communicate clearly in person, over the phone and in writing
