Job Title: QA Engineer – Credit IT (Capital Markets Technology) Location: Toronto, ON Contract
Role Overview Capital Markets Technology Credit IT group is seeking a QA Engineer to support testing activities for their applications. The role involves creating, executing, and enhancing manual and automated test processes, developing automation frameworks, and ensuring robust testing coverage across all system components.
Key Responsibilities · Design, implement, and maintain manual and automated test processes. · Develop and enhance automation frameworks for efficient testing. · Set up and maintain test environments and configurations. · Document and track software issues, defects, and test data. · Collaborate with developers and stakeholders to ensure comprehensive testing coverage. · Facilitate resolution and communication across functional teams regarding software issues and release decisions. · Coordinate with dependent teams for end-to-end testing coverage. · Establish and optimize CI/CD pipelines using DevOps tools (e.g., Jenkins, OpenShift, GitHub Actions) to accelerate development and testing cycles.
Must-Have Qualifications
· Undergraduate degree in a quantitative discipline (Computer Science, Engineering, etc.). · Proficiency in Python, Selenium, Robot Framework · Experience with relational databases such as SQL Server, MySQL, or Sybase. · Strong attention to detail and ability to understand user requirements. · Experience in both UI automation and API testing · Experience with AI usage in QA automation
