**Days of work:**Monday to Friday
**Shift time:**08:30 to 16:30
What we offer: We provide a comprehensive, competitive, and people focused employment package, emphasizing wellness, growth, work–life balance, and long term stability.
About this position:
This position will provide coverage until October 2027 or return of incumbent. As a Clinical Dietitian with Williams Lake Primary Care, you are an integral member of a collaborative, multidisciplinary health care team. You support individuals, patients, and groups by providing evidence based nutrition care in alignment with established policies, standards, and procedures, all within a patient centred, team based primary care model.
In this role, you use your clinical expertise to deliver comprehensive nutrition services, including nutrition assessment, care planning and documentation, intervention, goal setting, and ongoing monitoring. You provide counseling and education tailored to patient needs, consult and communicate closely with interdisciplinary care team members, and serve as a nutrition resource for colleagues and the broader Williams Lake community. You contribute to high quality, coordinated care by collaborating with physicians, nurse practitioners, nurses, and allied health professionals, helping strengthen continuity of care and improve patient outcomes across the primary care journey.
Beyond direct patient care, you play a key role in advancing professional practice. You provide input to the Professional Practice Leader through participation in the development and review of nutrition practice guidelines and procedures, and you contribute to research, quality improvement, and continuous learning initiatives that support the goals of the Primary Care and the wider Interior Health system.
About us: Interior Health is committed to achieving a culturally diverse and inclusive workforce that is representative of the communities we serve, and where you are encouraged to bring your whole self to work.
