We are seeking a detail-oriented Temporary Accounts Receivable Assistant Clerk to join our team on a 6-month contract. This is an excellent opportunity to support our finance department, assist with critical AR functions, and contribute to accurate and efficient financial operations.

Position Duties & Responsibilities

  • Prepare Past Due Letters: Generate and distribute past due notices to support timely collections.
  • Account Reconciliation: Maintain and update spreadsheets to reconcile accounts, reviewing each account in detail to ensure accuracy.
  • Resolve Discrepancies: Investigate and correct account discrepancies by reviewing transactions and collaborating with internal stakeholders.
  • Administrative Support: Perform clerical duties such as filing, organizing documents, retrieving invoices to support the accounting team.

Qualifications

  • Ideal for graduates with a diploma or degree in accounting, finance, or a related field who are eager to gain hands-on experience.
  • Previous accounting experience (up to 1–2 years) is considered an asset.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel) is required.
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong communication skills for internal collaboration.
