The Opportunity:
We have an opening for an experienced and energetic Health Surveillance Technician in our Albian Oil Sands operation. As the successful candidate, you will be responsible for conducting and tracking a variety of health surveillance tests, following our Occupational Health & Safety guidelines. - Job location: Fort McMurray, Alberta - Albian Oil Sands
- Shift schedule: 4 days on, 3 days off – Monday to Thursday, 10-hour shifts
- Safety sensitive position: Yes

Key Accountabilities:
- Perform testing duties (i.e. Audio testing, Pulmonary Function Testing (PFT), Respiratory Mask Fitting, Vision Screening) for employees, contingent workers and embedded contractors
- Enter medical results in Canadian Natural’s medical system
- Complete medical record follow-ups with employee and Medical Director
- Receive and process external test results
- Issue medical requisitions
- Follow Occupational Health & Safety (OH&S) guidelines and protocols
What You Bring to the Role:
- Audiometric Technician certification
- Spirometry Technician certification
- Respiratory Mask Fitting experience
- Experience working in the mining and/or oil & gas industry considered an asset
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
