Your Team Our validation center employs innovative and progressive methods and can count on a team of dedicated individuals. More than 800 physical tests and validations are carried out each year, ensuring that our customers receive reliable, at the cutting edge of technology.

The engineer will work closely with the Performance Group and Product Development teams to develop methodologies aligned with our strategic goals. This role is essential to ensure the accuracy, repeatability, and validity of our tests.

Your Role As part of the Method Group Manager’s team, the selected candidate will play a key role in maintaining and evolving the test method portfolio. They will also be the knowledge holder for performance physics. Their mission will be to analyze, design, and implement innovative test methods that improve product reliability and quality while meeting customer requirements and industry standards.

  • Innovate: Design test and analysis methods in exploration contexts, integrating emerging knowledge.
  • Lead: Oversee the execution of complex tests and performance evaluation strategies.
  • Analyze: Identify key physical principles, define robust validation methods, and anticipate new needs.
  • Manage: Oversee a portfolio of methods (creation, adaptation, removal) and document tool-method projects.
  • Share: Transfer your expertise through mentoring, training, and technical communication.
  • Industrialize: Deploy test methods, according to standards, on simulators and vehicles, and revise validation plans.

What do you need to possess for being successful?

  • You hold a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering.
  • You are a member of the Ordre des ingénieurs du Québec.
  • You have at least 7 years of experience in an engineering role.
  • You are comfortable in a bilingual environment (French and English), both spoken and written, to communicate with colleagues and clients internationally.

You have a strong ability to diagnose complex problems and propose innovative solutions.

  • We recognize you for your autonomy, rigour, and proficiency in statistical analysis.
  • You have skills in analyzing and interpreting simulation results (FEA), with good project management and documentation skills.
  • You have experience with data acquisition systems and the ability to explain complex concepts to varied audiences.
  • Knowledge of CAD software (CREO) is an asset.
