Job Description CS Group Canada is seeking a skilled and motivated SCADE Developer to support in embedded software development, integration, and testing activities. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in the ANSYS SCADE Suite and experience with Open ECU platforms. Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain embedded software using the ANSYS SCADE Suite
- Collaborate with engineering teams to understand system/software requirements and translate them into SCADE models
- Support integration of SCADE-generated code into Open ECU platforms
- Conduct unit testing, integration testing, and validation of embedded software
- Troubleshoot and resolve software issues across development and integration phases
- Document design decisions, test results, and integration workflows
- Participate in stakeholder meetings to align on priorities, milestones, and deliverables
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical or Electronic Engineering (or equivalent)
- Minimum 3 years of experience with SCADE and/or ECU integration
- Proven experience with SCADE Model-Based Design, code generation, and verification workflows
- Strong background in C/C++ for embedded systems
- Hands-on experience integrating software with Open ECU platforms
- Familiarity with unit testing frameworks and integration testing methodologies
- Ability to interpret system-level requirements and translate them into software specifications
- Clear and professional communication with cross-functional teams and stakeholders
Nice-to-Have Qualifications
- Experience with ISO 26262 standards, safety-critical embedded systems, and CAN protocols.
- Exposure to other ANSYS tools (e.g., Twin Builder, Simplorer, Medini)
- Experience with SysML or similar modeling languages
- Useful for scripting, automation, or simulation tasks
- Experience with Git, SVN, or similar tools
