About the role
A career in Infrastructure and Property, within Internal Firm Services, will provide you with the opportunity to be a part of developing and managing the PwC operational infrastructure that allows us to support our people and our clients. We focus on all aspects of internal infrastructure services from real estate site selection, facilities management, and physical security to managing relationships with Firm travel partners and event planning. Our Office Services team is responsible for managing the well-being of our office environment as well as responding to office requests from PwC partners and staff to help keep the office running smoothly.
Meaningful work you’ll be part of
As an Office Services Clerk, you’ll work as part of a team of problem solvers, helping to solve business issues, deliver high quality client service and operational efficiency. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Providing our internal/external clients with enhanced customer care from 8:30 am to 5:00 pm, this includes responding to issues, concerns, providing information etc
- Provide set-up and operation, including audiovisual, support for meetings, videoconferencing, teleconferences, webinars and distance-learning classes
- Provide on-site support for our IT, facilities and other off-site departments
- Provide catering services, including beverage and food ordering, set-up and cleanup of meeting rooms
- Check our business centre and catering databases for requests and provide support for inbound and outbound mail
- Submits and codes invoices needed in e-payables
- Developing and maintaining a relationship with various vendors to ensure we’re able to provide catering and repair services
- Printing, copying and binding services as needed
- Maintain office and coffee supplies, ordering supplies where needed
- Assists with other functions of Office Services as needed
Experiences and skills you’ll use to solve
- Relevant in office experience opening and closing an office with the ability to complete tasks with limited supervision
- Relevant experience setting up and organizing audiovisual and catering requirements is an asset but not a requirement
- High degree of computer proficiency in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Internet search tools. Utilize G Suite and other job-related databases
- Excellent oral and written communication skills (including strong spelling, drafting, editing, proofreading, punctuation and grammar skills)
- Excellent organizational skills and the ability to prioritize multiple responsibilities
- Exercises discretion when dealing with confidential data
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
