Reporting to the Bakery Team Leader, responsibilities for this position include the following:
- Demonstrate the behaviors and actions to support Lake Country Co-operative’s vision, mission, and safety principles to make a difference in members lives, with a strong customer focused approach.
- Provide Legendary Service at all touch points through various communication channels.
- Prepare products to Lake Country Co-op standards, package and label finished products, maintain production records.
- Ensure to keep a clean and well-maintained department.
- Maintain and display all types of bakery products according to department standards.
- Monitor code dates to always ensure the freshest inventory on the shelf; follow First in, first out (FIFO).
- Take cake orders and cake writing as required.
- Support and follow Asset Protection and Safety Management systems, policies, and procedures.
- Perform other duties as assigned.

Who You Are:
You are looking for a career in Retail Store Operations and Customer Service:
- You have previous experience in retail bakery operations is an asset.
- You are honest and trustworthy, are results-oriented, and are proud of the work that you do.
- You are well organized and capable of attaining a high level of production, with a minimum amount of supervision.
- You are familiar with Food Safe procedures and practices.
- You have the ability to fulfill physical job requirements, heavy lifting, repetitive movements, standing entire shift.
- You have a flexible work schedule; weekend and evening work is required.
