Our mission is to make a positive difference in the lives of people who face inequities – by providing accessible community health and social services. We look to bring people together with the resources, expertise and services they need so that we can do our part to build a healthy, thriving community. At the heart of our delivery model are our shared commitment to equity and social justice, whole person health, community collaboration, heart driven integrity and evidence informed excellence.

Our talented, passionate team at SEOCHC makes a real and tangible impact on the lives of the residents of our community. We collaborate to deliver best-in-class services and care, and we’re looking for a Coordinator for our ACB Child & Youth Mental Health program.

The coordinator will work collaboratively with community partners, families, and internal teams to strengthen access, improve outcomes, and build trust.

As this is a community-facing role, some evening and after-hours work will be required to support programming, partnerships, events, and community engagement.

  • Foster a collaborative, inclusive, and positive team culture.

  • Monitor program goals, deliverables, and outcomes.

  • Support reporting, evaluation, and continuous improvement activities.

  • Assist with planning, budgeting, and resource stewardship.

  • Identify emerging needs, gaps, and opportunities to strengthen services.

  • Participate in organizational initiatives including planning, accreditation, and collaborative projects.

Qualifications

  • Post-secondary education in Social Services, Mental Health/Counselling, Community Development, or a related field.

  • Experience in program coordination, leadership, or community-based services.

  • Strong understanding of systemic barriers and social determinants of health impacting Black communities.

  • Experience working with children, youth, and families.

  • Knowledge of culturally responsive and anti-racist approaches to service delivery.

  • Demonstrated commitment to Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and belonging.

  • Strong communication, relationship-building, and facilitation skills.

  • Excellent organization and project coordination skills.

  • Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with others.

  • Experience with community partnerships and stakeholder engagement.

  • English fluency required. French is an asset.

Our second site is EarlyON which serves families in the Heatherington-Fairlea community and our third site is at the Hunt Club-Riverside Community Centre.
