Here are the key responsibilities of the role: Gather, analyze, document, and prioritize business needs based on strategic and operational objectives, and translate them into clear and detailed requirements (features). Identify, evaluate, and recommend solutions aligned with business needs, including assessing their suitability as well as associated costs and benefits. Prepare and maintain project documentation (business cases, requirements, etc.), communicate requirements to stakeholders, and ensure their understanding and validation. Develop current- and future-state process maps, manage requirements traceability throughout the project lifecycle, and contribute to change management activities. Collaborate in the development of testing strategies, the identification of risks, issues, and performance indicators, and participate in testing activities. ______________________________________________________________________________ What could accelerate your success in this role We're looking for someone who: Is recognized for their analytical mindset, ability to synthesize information, and creativity, enabling them to understand complex challenges and support effective decision-making. Stands out for their understanding of business best practices, solution-oriented approach, and commitment to continuous improvement. Demonstrates strong written and verbal communication skills, along with the ability to influence and facilitate discussions with a variety of stakeholders. Is recognized for their ability to collaborate on medium- to large-scale projects and for their knowledge of business analysis practices and tools. A business analysis certification and familiarity with BABOK, IIBA, Agile SAFe, and BPMN are considered assets. Has five (5) to ten (10) years of experience as a Business Analyst. Experience in the Property and Casualty Insurance industry is considered an asset.
