Description

Location - Downtown Ottawa and Surrounding
Shift - Wednesday - Sunday, 40hrs a week - flexibility required based on operational requirements.

We are seeking motivated and customer-centric Feild Manager to assist our parking operations in various locations. This role focuses on delivering exceptional customer service, personnel management, revenue generation, direct marketing, event management, client management, business development, and team development. This position is responsible for responding quickly to customers’ requests and providing caring interactions with all guests at their assigned location. The Field Manager works closely with fellow team members, Operations Manager, and/or Shift Supervisor to ensure that quality and safety standards are met at all times as well as adhering to local laws.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist Management team at various locations as required.
  • Provide positive customer service experiences for all Impark customers and clients
  • Ensure location is operated and maintained to Impark’s company standards
  • Assist customers with meters, direct customers into parking facilities
  • Process refunds
  • Provide information to customers on long term parking options
  • Process cash transactions and deposits
  • Daily site inspections and equipment checks
  • Maintenance of site system software
  • Correspondence and communication with all company departments as needed.
  • Reporting and requesting of equipment servicing/repairs
  • May need to work outdoors, exposed to all weather conditions
  • Manage site staff
  • Other duties as assigned by manager
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment
  • Must be mobile and able to cover the entire site
  • Must be able to work outdoors through inclement conditions.

Staff Supervision

  • Coordination of staffing for attended site based on regular manpower requirements and site activity.
  • Staff disciplinary action when required, including issuing of written warnings. Subsequent monitoring and follow up action, and participation in grievance/dismissal proceedings.
  • Monitoring of personnel to ensure compliance with company uniform and service standards.
  • Completion of paperwork as per company policy and procedures.

Lot Maintenance/Set-Up

  • Regular review of the lot’s physical condition including signage, surface, lighting, automated equipment, etc.
  • Initiation of work orders dealing with any necessary maintenance repairs or improvements ensuring that necessary coding information is provided for accounting purposes and capital expenditure items are approved as needed.
  • Liaison with contractors, maintenance department, equipment suppliers, and Landlord/Property Manager
  • Ensure that all accounting and contract information is distributed to ensure appropriate internal set up of site.

Skills, Knowledge and Expertise

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

  • Bilingual required - French and English.

  • Full G drivers Licence required.

  • Customer service oriented.

  • Pleasant and energetic personality.

  • Excellent working knowledge of Microsoft Office and Citrix based applications.

  • Hands on working knowledge of parking equipment and related software.

  • Ability to multi-task.

  • Able to work and thrive in a fast paced environment.

  • Ability to prioritize tasks in an ever changing environment.
