High School Woodworking teacher needed!
Khalsa Secondary School is looking for one Woodworking teacher. Khalsa School is an independent Sikh school in British Columbia. We are offering a full teaching position with the opportunity to set up your own classroom.
Woodworking teacher position.
- Woodwork 10 (2 blocks)
- Woodwork 8 (2 block)
- Woodwork 9 (2 blocks)
- Woodwork 11 (2 blocks)
- Woodwork 12 (1 block)
Successful candidates must have a Bachelor of Education. You must be eligible to be employed in Canada. Special attention will be given to applicants who are certified to or can be certified to teach in British Columbia.
Khalsa School is a Sikh school and a part of the student’s education at our schools includes education in the Sikh Faith (Sikh music, history, scriptures). However, these subjects are taught by our religious department and staff. Successful applicants, from all cultural/religious/ethnic, etc. backgrounds will only be required to teach the BC Curriculum.
Position Start Date: September 1st, 2026
Position End Date: June 30th,2027
Job Type: Full-Time
Starting Salary: $6600/per month BC Certified (CoQ) Teachers
Educational requirements: Bachelor of Education – Successful candidates must have the appropriate certification level, have qualifications and meet requirements to work in Canada.
Applicants with certification to teach in BC will be given preference. If you are certified to teach in another province, you will be considered, granted you apply for BC certification.
We will not consider teachers who are not certified to teach in BC or Canada.

** Our school is walking distance of the sky train, bus routes, food services and is in a rapidly growing area of Surrey BC.**
