About the role
Clarington Nissan is seeking motivated 2nd- and 3rd-year Automotive Apprentice Technicians to join our growing service team. This role is ideal for apprentices looking to build strong diagnostic skills, gain hands-on dealership experience, and work alongside licensed technicians in a fast-paced, supportive environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform maintenance and repair work under the guidance of licensed technicians
- Assist with diagnostics, inspections, and repairs on a variety of vehicle systems
- Complete PDI, used vehicle inspections, and reconditioning work as required
- Accurately document work performed on repair orders
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area
- Follow all manufacturer, dealership, and safety standards (including WHMIS)
- Work collaboratively with service advisors and team members to meet shop goals
- Assist with tire storage as needed
Qualifications & Requirements
- Registered 2nd- or 3rd-year Automotive Service Technician Apprentice
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
- Strong work ethic and willingness to learn
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Basic diagnostic and mechanical repair knowledge
- Team-oriented with good communication skills
