Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate. or equivalent experience. Work site environment: Noisy. Dusty. Odours. Hot. Work setting: Urban area. Tasks: Prepare and submit reports. Recommend measures to improve productivity . Resolve work problems, provide technical advice and recommend measures to improve productivity and product quality. Establish work schedules. Train or arrange for training. Oversee safety of operations. Recommend personnel actions. Set up machines and equipment. Requisition or order materials, equipment and supplies. Supervise, co-ordinate and schedule (and possibly review) activities of workers. Recommend measures to improve productivity and product quality. Supervision: Electronics assemblers, fabricators, inspectors and testers. Assemblers and inspectors, electrical appliance, apparatus and equipment manufacturing. 16-20 people. Security and safety: Criminal record check. Transportation/travel information: Public transportation is available. Work conditions and physical capabilities: Repetitive tasks. Handling heavy loads. Physically demanding. Manual dexterity. Attention to detail. Hand-eye co-ordination. Ability to distinguish between colours. Sitting. Combination of sitting, standing, walking. Own tools/equipment: Tools. Safety equipment/gear. Ear plugs. Steel-toed safety boots. Gloves. Hard hat. Personal suitability: Efficient interpersonal skills. Flexibility. Organized. Reliability. Values and ethics. Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year. Support for persons with disabilities: Provides physical accessibility accommodations (for example: ramps, elevators, etc.).
