About the role

AAA Canada is looking for an Avionics Methods Agent to play an active role in optimizing production processes related to both mechanical and avionics systems on aircraft. This position is key to ensuring the quality, reliability, and compliance of onboard systems.

Responsibilities

  • Actively participate in troubleshooting and resolving issues related to mechanical and avionics systems in production;
  • Write functional test procedures for various mechanical and avionics systems, and identify the required tooling for their execution;
  • Review, validate, and monitor engineering requirements for both mechanical and avionics systems, ensuring compliance with specifications;
  • Plan and implement production changes in collaboration with the relevant teams;
  • Support and optimize daily production operations by providing technical assistance for avionics and mechanical systems;

Skills and qualifications

  • College diploma in Aircraft Maintenance, Avionics, or a related field, with a minimum of five (5) years of experience in aviation, ideally in a production environment;
  • In-depth knowledge of aircraft mechanical and avionics systems;
  • Strong sense of responsibility, integrity, initiative, and sound technical judgment;
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and strong organizational skills;
  • Bilingual (French and English) with excellent communication skills;
  • Knowledge of SAP, Macpac, and Quicksilver is an asset;
  • Familiarity with Challenger aircraft products is a significant advantage.
