POSITION: Cook
LOCATION: Montreal, Gouin Boulevard
SALARY: $24.50
SCHEDULE / HOURS: To be discussed during the interview; must be available from Thursday to Sunday. Full-time position.
START DATE: Immediate
Job Responsibilities
- Assist the chef in preparing the daily menu
- Cook and finish dishes
- Participate in food service operations
- Experience in catering preparation (an asset)
- Demonstrate creativity while respecting the client’s expressed needs
- Ensure high-quality food service and customer satisfaction
- Optimize food and labor costs
- Ensure the application of management, health, hygiene, and food safety programs
- Monitor and control service quality and customer satisfaction
- Participate in the monthly inventory
Qualifications
-
- 2 to 3 years of experience in food service or the restaurant industry (an asset)
- Strong leadership skills
- Demonstrate rigor and a methodical approach in daily work
- MAPAQ food hygiene and sanitation certificate (an asset)
- Ability to work as part of a team
- Able to work independently
- Positive attitude
- Customer service–oriented
- Bilingualism is an asset, as some of our clients are English-speaking
