Senior Sales Analyst
Location: Hybrid - Kingston or Toronto, ON
Empire Life is looking to hire a Senior Sales Analyst to join our Group Distribution team!

What you’ll be working on
- Ensure the national goals are achieved through the collaborative, proactive and effective execution of sales activity and problem resolution.
- Ensure the effective negotiation, coordination and delivery of administrative, renewal, plan amendment and new business documentation as appropriate
- Act as key contact with distribution partners and internal stakeholders; escalate issues to management as required
- Develop and present business case to support pricing decisions; conduct risk assessment and make decisions on final pricing within defined parameters
- Provides subject matter expertise, training and mentorship to Sales Analyst Team
- Utilize knowledge of industry standards and internal processes to creatively provide solutions and timely resolution to complex issues that minimize escalation and recommends best practices to leadership
- Identify and effectively communicate stakeholder concerns and act to resolve issues; escalate as required
- Provide administrative and service support as required
- Acts as a key contact and subject matter expert on technical issues and procedures providing support for internal and external stakeholders
What we’re looking for you to have
- Completion of a University degree in Commerce, business administration or related discipline
- 5+ years work experience in group insurance/financial services industry
- Knowledge of underwriting principles and technical pricing capabilities
- Working knowledge of group products, contract provisions and administrative procedures
- Demonstrated experience in a group sales and service environment
- Knowledge of word processing, spreadsheet, email, internet and database software
- GBA or working towards
- Well-developed customer relations skills
- Ability to think logically, analyze and solve problems
- Ability to develop and maintain effective working relationships
- Ability to prioritize and balance multiple tasks or projects
- Well-developed communication, negotiation, persuasion and/or presentation skills
- Tact, diplomacy and the ability to handle confidential information
