Location: Remote work available; travel required between our 10 Health, Fitness & Aquatics centres across BC (including the Lower Mainland, Kamloops, and Northern BC)
Terms: Full-Time, Permanent
Hours: 35 hours per week
Start Date: ASAP
Salary:$68,000 - $70,000 per year
Reports To: General Manager, Sales and Membership Growth Services

The Membership Growth Manager is responsible for leading efforts to recover memberships, increase daily sales conversions, and reduce churn across YMCA BC. They will align systems and business processes to support consistent membership growth, activate outreach strategies, and provide leadership support to Supervisors to improve retention, reporting, and operational execution
Major Responsibilities**-in this position, you will:**
- Lead membership recovery initiatives to reduce churn, including failed payments follow up, and reducing cancellations.
- Manage defective memberships (expiring credit cards, annual expiring memberships, etc.) to reduce churn
- Drive daily sales performance by supporting operational needs and frontline execution
- Activate growth tactics such as corporate and community outreach
- Support administrative functions transitioned from the former Contact Centre
- Provide coaching and support to Membership Experience Supervisors on acquisition and retention efforts
- Collaborate with Systems Manager, Membership Coordinator, Membership Supervisors, and Centre Managers to align systems and strategies
- Analyze sales and retention data to inform strategy, reporting, and continuous improvement
Qualifications**-you bring:**
- Minimum 3–5 years of experience in sales, membership services, or customer engagement
- Bachelor’s degree in business, sales, marketing, or related field.
- Possess a valid Standard First Aid with CPR C certificate
- Experience in team leadership and cross-functional collaboration preferred.
- Have access to reliable transportation
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and experience with CRM or membership management systems; familiarity with ActiveNet is considered an asset
- Demonstrated ability to handle sensitive financial and personal information with discretion and professionalism.
- Successful candidate will be required to provide 3 satisfactory references
- Successful candidates will be required to provide a current and satisfactory Criminal Record check with a Vulnerable sector search issued no later than six (6) months preceding the start date.
