About the role
Location: Mississauga, OntarioType: In the OfficeOur Mississauga, ON branch is currently looking for a Deficiency Quotation Specialist to join their team. In this role, the successful candidate will be responsible for quoting fire deficiencies and making recommendations that are generated from the service inspections performed by our skilled fire alarm technicians.Troy Life & Fire Safety Ltd. is one of the largest suppliers of Fire Alarm, Fire Suppression, Security, Nurse call and Communications Systems in Canada. - Pricing fire deficiencies and recommendations that are generated from the service inspections.
- Preparing quotes for building owners, contractors, and tenders opportunities pertaining to retrofit projects and tenant improvements.
- Completing pre-qualification documents, reviewing drawings/specifications, developing Proposals, Securing purchase orders/contracts;
- Coordinating the preparation of drawings, material lists, safety plans, and field installation with site crews.
- Coordination of design, material, labour, subcontractors, and change orders.
- Updating account and customer information.
- Other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Post Secondary Diploma in Fire Protection Engineering, or related field of study considered an asset
- Experience in Fire Alarm inspection, testing, maintenance and/or sales
- Demonstrated organizational skills
- Ability to collaborate and work effectively within a team
