About the Role
The Construction Project Manager will oversee the development for the greenfield construction of a large-scale manufacturing plant in Ontario, Canada including . The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in managing building construction in industrial or manufacturing settings. This role demands a leader with strong technical expertise who can successfully deliver the infrastructure scope while ensuring the construction schedule, budget and maintain project integrity with highest standards of safety, quality, environmental compliance, and sustainability.. This role requires a proactive approach to identifying, assessing, and implementing changes within the project, ensuring adherence to relevant standards, and maintaining clear communication among stakeholders.
This position is in-person and located in the charming town of St. Thomas ON.
Key Responsibilities

Provide strategic leadership and accountability for all building construction activities, aligning scope, schedule, MEP, Structural, Equipment, Installation and budget with project and organizational goals.

Develop and oversee integrated construction plans, budgets, schedules, and resource allocation, ensuring alignment with project objectives and lifecycle milestones.

Collaborate with architects, engineers, and design consultants to deliver optimized, sustainable, and cost-effective solutions that support long-term operations and regulatory requirements.

Lead stakeholder engagement, serving as the primary liaison between project leadership, contractors, subcontractors, and external partners to ensure alignment and timely decision-making.

Monitor construction activities through site inspections and progress reviews, ensuring compliance with design specifications, safety, quality, and environmental standards.

Provide regular strategic updates to senior management, highlighting progress, risks, and recommendations to maintain transparency and drive informed decisions.

Report regularly to senior management on progress, risks, and milestones, providing data-driven insights and recommendations for decision-making.

Foster a collaborative, high-performance culture across multidisciplinary teams, embedding safety, accountability, and alignment with organizational goals.
What you bring to the Team

Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Engineering
-
10+ years of progressive experience leading construction works on large-scale greenfield and brownfield projects, particularly in industrial and manufacturing environments.

Deep expertise in construction regulations, codes, and industry standards, with a proven ability to ensure compliance and best practices.

Proven leadership capability, with experience managing complex, multimillion-euro projects and guiding multidisciplinary teams toward successful delivery.
